I found it useful. But it appears to be abandoned now and no longer functions other than altitude, maybe.

Guess the devs abandoned it.
Since I updated to IOS 181.1 the barometer is not working correctly
App is inoperable, needs update after 17.4 messed up access to barometer sensor. Using another app in the meanwhile. Great app otherwise when it's working.
Have used for several years, has been reliable and accurate. “Loved it.” Until the IOS 17.4 update, which sadly disabled fetching of data from the phone/tablet’s baro sensor. Getting station pressure was not possible*. IOS 17.4.1 helped, but alas, Bar-o-meter still does not function on my devices. There are some apps that now are functional for station pressure and other functions requiring an app to fetch data from the baro sensor on the device, not from a weather station on the web. *some users with unlocked phones and programming knowledge have posted workarounds, but if you have a carrier specific device like mine and can barely run your tv remote, that’s not an option.
How do I get the app to display actual pressure in inches of mercury instead of absolute pressure? Thanks.
Great site.
Not work for XR
WHY was my credit card charged AT ALL? This is supposed to be a FREE app unless I choose to upgrade!!! $20.77 ... BEWARE of this charge if you're going to download this app!!!
Use this app often. Works very well.
Needs to run in background. Needs to show the last 24 hours of pressure data. Add sun and rain icons to barometer to quickly indicate predicted weather. Needs ability to zoom out on the graph to see more hours at once without side scrolling. It would be cool if you could rotate the iPhone sideways so the graphs would be bigger and show more data at once. Needs Apple Watch support
Great app. You can make a lot of different choices. Best barometer app I have run across.
I like how the app shows the full data from the iPhone's barometric pressure sensor. Atmospheric pressure can be displayed live in any format from the entire range of standards. hPa, Torr, atm, psi, mm Mercury, and more!!! Very nice, best barometer app there is!
it would be nice to be able to enter the reference in inches of mercury. Currently, the entry field accepts only millibars even when the preference setting is set to inches of mercury.
I tried four different altimeter apps plus my LAD watch. This one is the most accurate and reliable under the no-stress, low risk conditions for which I tested. And the interface aesthetics are pleasing as well. I like it so much I just bought the no-ad option for a buck. I use a 6+.
Does the job nicely. I particularly like the history graph.
Kudos to the developer for fixing the Absolute Pressure on non-barometer sensor devices like iPhone 5S/iPad 3! Now the app needs some practical commentary added — a little interpretation added for the pressure, kind of like an idiots mode to show people what that means for everyday life. i.e. implications for headaches as a storm system moves in, etc.
This app has a chart where it's supposed to chart the history of the barometric pressure. The information is erased quickly after I leave the app, so that I am not able to look back on changes to the pressure and its trend. I also wish this app had a feature that could alert you when the pressure is rising or falling. Since the iphone 6 plus has a barometer, it seems like this would be possible. It would also be nice if there were separate charts for the gps pressure and actual pressure (from the phone).
I wish you could turn off gps though.
Very distracting ads at the bottom of the app. Deleted it.
Beautiful in design and function.
Seems to only record data points when app is open. Wouldn't want constant data refresh but maybe once every hour or two so trends can be seen in the graphs if I haven't used the app in a day. Otherwise I have to check in with the app several times a day for graphs to be useful.
I like it. Simple and elegant. I like that it show the GPS calculated altitude and the barometric altitude side by side.
Tried several of the free barometer apps and I really liked the design of Bar-o-Meter. I noticed a small issue and contacted the developer who was very responsive and later let me know that the issue was fixed with this latest update. I'm very impressed by the quality of this free app and happily paid to remove the ads.
I would gladly pay for additional features and no ads. Great app. As a pilot it is nice to have inches of mercury, and do some basic weather forecasting.
I want to like this app. But I hate the Ads I see no option to pay for no Ads I would much rather pay and not have some company insisting I look at their Ad just to check AP throughout my day. I don't use apps with Ads. Also why no hPa which is the standard for most professionals and pilots? I will check back for updates as the information it provides is accurate. I will not deal with Ads or with pressure measurements other than hPa I don't need to covert stuff in my head I want it at a glance. I think the format could look more professional also, enjoy the ability to trend past conditions. Hope it improves I want to give it more stars as it seems a very accurate tool.
I have tried virtually all the free Apps for barometric pressure and they all were not much good until this one. Works wonderfully. Would be nice to a bit more explanation on the adjustment and the screen should rotate, really annoying on a iPad Air2 with a key board. Otherwise the absolute best I've found.
Would like to see support for setting current pressure in inHg not just millibars. Some of us live in countries that still use inferior measurements.
Usefull barometer
Nice, clear and finally a Barometer that works in Bogota, Colombia: 2620m. asl.
Simple, useful, and beautiful. Well done
It does well what it says it does. Clean interface, I like it. Even though pressure in kPa is kinda the same math behind the Atm pressure system I'd like to have an option for pressure in Atm.
I searched all the barometer apps in Apple and this is by far the best. Displays pressure at sea level and reads in inHG. Along with it's altitude display this is a very useful barometer app!
This is the first of all the barometer apps that finally shows the pressure at sea level! As I live at 7,000 ft., the barometer is finally meaningful for me!
Neat little app...I noticed a problem with the 1.0 version, emailed them and heard back within an hr or so. After emailing back and forth they figured out problem and had an updated app within a couple of days.
